Shopping

Tshwane boasts some of the largest and most modern shopping centres in the southern hemisphere where shops ranging from giant chain stores to small speciality boutiques sell all you could possible want. In addition, many smaller centres in the suburbs also provide quaint shops to browse around in. Most of the larger shopping malls offer entertainment areas including cinemas, ice skating, bowling, go-cart racing and mini golf. Don't forget to visit the flea markets and art and craft markets throughout the city. You'll be amazed at the colourful and beautiful array of goods available. Ranging from wire sculptures, ceramic pots, basketware, beadwork, embroidery, carvings and many other handmade articles, the variety is astounding and the quality, excellent. And if you're more into the culinary delights, pay a visit to some of the deli markets in the city.
